Peace Together Project launched an act of kindness initiative called Be Kind 365 – Spreading kindness one day at a time. The Be Kind 365 project began on Friday, February 1st, 2019 and poised to connect family and friends together to inspire others to reach out and do something unexpected and kind for someone else. It has connected communities together across the globe with simple acts of kindness and spans six continents.

Our hope is that Be Kind 365 is an opportunity to do something for others in a simple act of kindness to celebrate Peace Together Project.
Don’t overthink your
random act of kindness! Even the simplest things can make a difference…
Here is a list of free and simple acts of kindness…
- Smile at someone.
- Give someone a hug
- Wash someone’s car.
- Go out of the way to offer someone a ride.
- Leave a positive sticky note on someone’s desk.
- Teach someone a recipe.
- Give someone a compliment.
- Give up a good parking spot.
- Send someone a positive note, email, message or text
- Hold the elevator or door open.
- Put your phone away (especially In a public place).
- Give up your seat anywhere its crowded.
- Help someone struggling with heavy bags.
- Help someone take a photo.
- Take time to give someone directions.
- Help someone with their luggage.
- Give someone else the cab that you hailed.
- Let someone else get seated before.
- Share your table with someone.
- Tweet or Facebook message a genuine compliment.
- Don’t write the angry comment you’re thinking of writing.
- Don’t interrupt when someone else is speaking.
- Email or write someone who made a difference in your life.
- Compliment someone to their boss.
- Inspire kindness by posting your location to Be Kind 365.
- Let someone into your lane.
- Forgive someone.
- Talk to the shy person who’s sitting by themselves.
- Cut someone some slack.
- Help a mother, senior or disabled.
- Let the person behind you go ahead of you.
- Call your grandparents, parents or siblings.
- Pick up any litter around you and put it in the trash.
- Compliment someone.
- Post or place positive slogans and quotes.
- Let someone have the parking space.
- Include everyone in the group conversation.
- Answer that email you’ve been avoiding.
- Write a nice comment on a blog.
- Visit with senior citizens at a nursing home.
- Listen intently.
- Compliment someone in front of others.
- Hold the elevator.
- Remind yourself that everyone is fighting their own struggles.
- Say thank you to anyone who works hard, veteran, military or first responder
- Text someone just to say good morning or good night.
- Help a neighbor take out the trash, mow their lawn or shovel the snow.
- Tell someone how much you appreciate them.

- Be encouraging.
- Help someone struggling with heavy bags.
- Give your friend a pat on the back

- Be kind to the customer service rep on the phone.

- Be patient.
- Return a shopping cart left in the parking area.
- If you’re uncomfortable with talking to a stranger, spread kindness to a someone you know.
- Think of things you’re grateful for.
- When you hear that negative, discouraging voice in your head, remember to leave yourself alone— you deserve kindness too.
